Installing black grill
How hard is it to install these? Just found one on the bay:

If it's not hard I'd like to throw it on myself. Also, assume the above will fit a 2012, it says 2010 but don't think they changed anything.

Just my 2 cents....I brought that same grill and sold it back on ebay. The black part is actually really shinny and not the mate finish like the mesh grill on the bottom part of our bumpers. It is not noticable in the ebay pictures.There is another seller that was seliing the same style grill with the mate black mesh. I was also not crazy about the quality. The chrome part did not look as shinny as in the picture.

I have the exact same grill - no quality issues at all. The good Doctor Nab is right on the install. "BUT" I'll give you 3 install tips since you're a semi-newb... #1 Take painters tape and tape right below your grill on the bumpers painted surface. Why you ask? Because its too easy to scape your your bumper paint when your OE grill releases. #2 Absolutely make sure all of your tabs a lined up prior to pushing in your new grill. Why you ask? If you try to redo it, your tabs will break off. #3 Get some to help when you go to push it back in. Why you ask? Because one person can't hold the grill and make sure all the tabs are lined up. Trust me I know...

I'm almost sure I've seen a single bar grill for these which is compatible with distronic modules will have to try and find it and post the link to it for you

It's in the $2,950 Driver Assistance Package on the 2013 E550, and probably the same on the 2012. If you have active blind spot assist, and active lane keeping assist you probably have Distronic plus (or maybe it was just Distronic in 2012?)
