My E550 won't start at all
Hello guys,
My E550 won't start at all, I started cleaning my for the past few days and left doors open, since I was taking some window tint glue and using goo gone, I didn't want to leave any smell behind, so today I'm done and when I'm ready to start the car, I get the rear seat latch warning, then the ABS brake warning and the some malfunction warning lights then after 10 min the car goes totally off, no lights, nothing and won't start I tried jumping cable from my GLK but nothing, not even a click.. any ideas?

2010 e550 4matic 44000 km won't start: fix
Replacing the starter for my car with the same symptoms as quoted above fixed my car too. Despite my reference to this post (and a similar one out there) the mechanic nearly sent me to MB without checking it, unable to otherwise diagnose the problem. With persistent insistence, he checked the starter, it was faulty, and now my car is fixed. Thank you forum users!!!

'12 e550. I had some thing similar but got worse, first it would turn on and go into a high idle but wouldn't allow me to place it in gear, first time the dealer said remove the keyless go switch and use the key fob,well that worked the first two times. By the third and fourth time it happened I couldnt even turn the car off. It would just idle super high and had to remove he battery to turn off the car . It would only happen when the car sat for anything ore than 14 hrs or so. Well the final time it happened and after threatening I wanted a new car because of lemon laws they kept it 3 days. And replaced starter, and one other part. Turns out it was a bad fuse box by the drivers seat. The whole fuse box needed replacing.
