BMC Air filter for M278?

These things worth it? Improved noise at all?

Renntech has them at $278 (LOL wtf?) but they're a mere $89 here:

I had them on all my previous cars.PLUS more noise and you feel the car more relaxed,that's how i would describe it.I will install on my E350 today the K&N's and i will tell how it feels on this car as well.
