AMG conversion project

Hey everyone,

Changing my front bumper to an amg bumper.. heres the process.. almost done!

before (non amg):

when i bought the bumper:

fiberglassing sensor holes and license plate holes.. also sanding..

and applied a "white sealant" will be painted tomorrow!

Nice work, its a shame mercedes does not offer the AMG kit on the 350's in the U.S.

$200 for the bumper off ebay! no issues at all! just needed to buy all the mesh separately

they did offer the amg/sport bumper back in 2010-2011?

back to OP:
the original bumper didnt look dat bad on the car
i kinda liked the base bumper, cuz it had the chrome to match ur rims

There is. Only one , as far as I found. But it can only be bought in Germany

Only in Germany? I think that's incorrect, at least in Portugal they are available, so I think in the rest of Europe it is also available. It's from the MercedesSport acessories line.

What about the LEd lighting did you have to replace it? I have seen several of these bumpers on ebay with minor damage and was considering doing the same thing. What will you do about the rear diffuser and exhaust?

the led lighting fit.. just needed the mesh covers around it and the amg chrome led covers

yes the wheel sizes are 20x8.5 and 20x10.. it is lowered on eibach springs.. go with other springs if you want it lower.. i added a 10mm spacer in the rear and 12mm in the front.. will post pictures when everything is done! also waiting on the cf front lip which is being made.. should be done this month..

10mm spacers in the rear and 12mm in the front.. just waiting on a front cf lip!!!

Yes I am considering the Prior design rear bumper and rocker panels. I would like to run quad exhaust tips. Still trying to figure out what to do with the front end. I have ordered the SL front grill in black with a small amount of chrome.
