I plan on getting 19 8.5 et 30 front and 19 10 et 50 rear on air. Should I keep offset or bump up the front to 35? I also plan on going with 235/35/19 and 275/30/19.
Sold my CLK500 for a 14 E550. So far installed the Weistec tune and X-Pipe with cat/res delete. Last thing for now is the wheels, which I need some help on.
I’m doing some Niche Targas with P-Zeros. What I’m worried about is if my low offsets will fit my vehicle. I’ll roll my fenders if I need to, but what do y’all think:
20x8.5 +25 / 255.35.20
20x10 +40 / 285.30.20
Thinking I should probably lower the car about an inch or so. I think this setup will look awesome if I can get away with it.. but I don’t know if I can. Anyone have any input?
Is there anyway to do 20"s on this car without lowering it? I know the front end should look good with a 30 thickness tire... the rear wheel well area seems more than ample to accomodate a 30 tall as well or even more but most professional shops I go to want to do 30 and 25 in back which i'm pretty sure i'd need to lower to look good. Only reason I do not want to lower the vehicle is because this is a daily driver and I don't want to ruin the current ride and handling. Even with my stock setup of 18"s I feel the rear tires can afford to be bigger as the gap in the back seems massive to me. Is anyone running 20"s on their coupe as a daily driver if so how is it?
Will try to get the offset info later today or 2moro
But for now these are my 20" with no drop
That looks good, actually as if it was lowered. Does the facelift have a lower ride height? Or more accommodating for larger wheels. What tire sizes are you running?
Trying to see if new wheels and tires would fit:
2012 E550 Convertible and tire/wheel combination that I would like to run:
Front: 19x8.5 ET38 with 235/35
Rear: 19x9.5 ET38 with 265/30 or 275/30.
Reading through this thread I think the front should be no issues, but I'm concerned with the back. Wheels are unfortunately not available in different offset.
I was thinking about getting these wheels They are available in these sizs and offsets front 20x8.5"(35mm offset)and back 20x10"(with 38mm offset or 45mm offset).
Wondering if they will hit the edge flush and which offset to go with on the rear.
I have a 2010 e550 coupe. I think the ideal tire size for these is 245/30 front and 275/30 rear. What do you guys think?
Looking at some wheels off a C43 for my 2010 E350 coupe I am currently running 18's with front et 45 8 inch & et 49 8.5 inch
The C43 has front et33 & rear 52 19 inch wheels , will this work?
i had the e550 2010 before i do believe its the same height but i can be wrong .
tire size for front 245/30ZR20 90Y and back is 275/30ZR20 97Y
It seems like the the front tires are stretched slightly and inner wheel edge keeps getting direct hit to pot holes
They are 20x9 offset +40
Tried 245/35r20 and it touched my coil over (stock)
Will 255 /30r20 fit with no rub?
Add spacer?
Front 20x8.5J ET 44
Rear 20x10J ET55
Michelin Pilot Super Sport 245/30/20 & 285/25/20

Front has 12mm spacer to clear the AMG caplier
No rubbing so far

Brother I might be way too late. But I want to know how did you manage to lower your car this much as it shows in the pics with just springs. Its super flush with the tire. Can you give me the part number or any info of the H&R springs you used and how they are held up ever since? Thank you.
