Read the thread and learn that a face lift to LED headlights is a very expensive proposition. Better to trade in and up to a face lifted car!

It is possible without changing the SAM (=using a fake control unit between SAM and full dynamic LED Headlights). Also works on the W207.

Rewiring and reconnecting the headlights must be done in any case. The DRL are now in the headlights.

It is not the cheapest conversion, indeed. But probably still cheaper than buying a new car.

It's not that easy mate. Rewiring is only 10% of the electronic conversion.

What price for that fake unit?

I see 2 models the headlights led for c207(e coupe)
My actual car is from 2011 and have halogen.

The basic led heaadlights without ils is easiest conect? positive and negative 12v?

like xenon kits?

finding the parts is the easiest part, id recommend buying all new so you have no issues. the real question is, how do we do it. does the sam need to be replaced and programmed (which seems to be a major pain) or is there a converter box someone has developed?

What they did was way over my head, took several months to fine tune the electronics, but they successfully did it. All functions have been fully restored including pre-safe, cruise control, radar sensor and Distronic. I can put you in touch with them, that's about all I can help given the complexity of the entire exercise.

Can the taillights be swapped out without any modification? They look the same shape.

Edit: nevermind, reread the thread. Ebay has 2014 wannabe lights for the pre-facelift years, but they are listed for the sedan? Would sedan lights fit the coupe?
