converting e coupe 2012 to 2014 facelift

Could you write here exactly what has to be done in the rear? I keep having position light in the brake light in the outer rear lamps, and also an error in the kombi instrument cluster for brake light in the inner trunk lamps because there is no brake light in the mopf trunk lamps.. Pretty irritating, i have the front working complete with the turning lamps, full ILS function and 628 adaptive highbeam, but the rear is a *****.

Yes it is after the new front sam install, the speed sensor setting in the TGW is different in the facelift and old..

havent figured out how to change it and if it will Work.

The hood is the same.Fenders as well.

My only problem after finishing all the facelift is that my Tempomat is not working.As well the Hold function.

after 10 days in mercedes offocial garage the technical man say to me thats immpossible to do it the coputer of the car refuse to doing the modification for the front lights .i m out

plz guys any one tell me how we can programme the new SAM for accepting the full led lights ? the guy from Mercedes official concessionaire tell me that impossible the MERCEDES COMPUTER refuse the let him doing a modification in the new SAM as he want . the car accept only what the N of chassis allow him . plz tell me how did you do it .I payed around 11000 dollars till now & still not working plz guys

You need another car to code the new SAM.That's how my guy from MB did it.

yes I know this & the guy from Mercedes tell me there is not a problem to finding another car for do it but he told me also that the new sam what I bring need to edit some connectors between new sam & others electronic box is that true ?? I must change the calculator also ??

I have changed the SAM unit and for each headlamp there are 2 calculators to be installed.And some wiring things too has to be done.

It s the end of road for me. I stop the conversion . no one help me . I m alone . didn't t find a solution. I want to change all the wires on front of car but no one tell me if I change all the wires the headlamps will work then I stop the conversion & I will remove all the new parts

yeah, we have a TON of interest in doing these conversions, just look at the view count on this thread, but very few specifics from those who have done it...

You will never complete the conversion if you don't have a guy from MB by your sight.I have made all the mods at the MB workshop.You have to convince them to help you.I would have helped you if i knew all the technical stuff.

Update? All working now?


And some info for you all concidering doing this there will be a headlight Cable adapterkit in 1-2 weeks for this so the Cables at least will be plug n play.

Try to call them http://www.mercteil.com/en/products/amg-e63-body-kit-w212-facelift-2013
My MB service also told that you need to have restyled 2013 car put your SAM on this car programm it and then put on your car.

i agree. its different from slapping an amg sticker on a vehicle or putting on a e63 badge. if a vehicle appearance can be upgraded by new lights, bumper, rocker panels, etc, its legit to do without changing the model or make of the vehicle.

some folks on this forum are a little to quick to call poser. its quite amusing.

We are planning to convert a 2012 w212 E63 Biturbo to a 2014 w212 E63 Facelift. Has anyone done this yet? Please share your experience.
