Spoiler Installation

Hey, guys! Tomorrow I am going to be installing my spoiler that I got off eBay. To those of you who have installed a spoiler, care to write the steps you took? Does this sound right:

1) Wash spoiler/trunk with dish-washing soap
2) Clean surfaces with alcohol
3) Apply 3M double sided tape to spoiler
4) Install it on the trunk lid

3M has worked for me.
i use it as it fairly easy to remove. i change my mind like i change underwear. iv had 3 or 4 different spoilers now.
the best thing to do if you want to use tape is stick it to the spoiler then peel off backing. but before you fix the spoiler to the car heat up the tape with a hair dryer and you'll see the tape go sorta moist looking the fix the spoiler to the car. heating up the tape aids the adhesion.
