The Ultimate Grille

I'm looking for the ultimate grille for the front of my 2011 E350 Cabriolet A207. I have attached a shot of the grille for a 2014 as a starting point. Anyone know if this will fit?

Not sure if the stock 2014 grill will fit but J666 found a similar aftermarket piece on ebay from 55tech.

Another option is to upgrade your grill with the lighted star that MB is selling.

Checked out the available grilles on Ebay (including 55Tech). The design is not quite the same as the example photo which shows the central circle holding the star to be more streamlined and rounded. Actually I'm one of the few that like the lighted star idea!

If money is no object check out carid.com and the dresden billet grilles. Not worth it imho but if you want the ultimate grille...

I like the CarID web site and product line but $6K for a grille? I'd rather do a facelift to the 2014 grille if I can find out if it will fit.

If you're careful enough you can take these grilles apart so you have the badge center piece, the center strut "bar", the chrome surround for the edges and the honeycomb backing. I can't see why if you're not extra careful that taking the center piece off the new grille that it wouldn't fit the backing and surrounds for the old grill. Just a theory from having taken apart my old two bar original grille but if that is the look you want to go for then nothing is impossible.

I just went with the 55 Tech option a while ago but took the old two bar grill apart afterwards to paint it black hence the suggestion of putting the two grilles together to make the one you want fit.

Hillcreative, so what did you decide to do on your grille? Pictures?
