I said I'd never get another black car again after my last one, but that sure does look nice.

The Brabus springs lowered the ride height 30mm (about 1.2 inches). The ride quality is a little worse, but not by much, very good springs. Also, I went with these springs because they are the only springs I found made for the 550 cab (no H&R or Eibachs).

Lovely car!

Do you get any rubbing with the 15mm rear spacers ? I take it you kept the stock wheel arches, no rolling required ?

Thanks, I have not had any rubbing with the spacers. Yep, I just kept the stock wheel arches. Only thing is I haven't had 4 people in the car since I had the spacers put on, so not sure about rubbing then.

Hi, was wondering if there are any issues lowering the car with our active suspension set up? Hows the ride quality compare to stock?

Loving the car, looks like a nice purposeful stance with the springs & spacers.

FYI - the Brabus springs are made by H&R, just rebranded.

On those AMG 5-twin spoke rims think with the 15mm spacers your rear offsets could be +34 (can't remember the original offset exactly might be +49 need to check my spare rims in the garage) I'd expect a little rubbing with rear passengers.

No issues with suspension and the active suspension still works with the springs. Also, the sport button still works as it should, I can choose between sport and comfort mode. Just need to look out for those dang parking stops! I have scraped up the bottom of my front bumper pretty bad because of these parking stops, so now I just back up into spots. The ride quality is a little worse than stock, but not by much. I have noticed better handling with the springs as well.

Some pictures of the X pipe set up. I removed both sets of resonators and have an X pipe--> straight pipe ---> mufflers setup. The sound is really good and would recommend to anyone looking for a louder exhaust note!
