E COUPE LOWERED WITH DCC?

Dear members i am looking to lower my car since i bought it. I havent done this yet because of this damn dynamic handling (electronic dumper system). Do you think that might be my solution?

I asked them about this a while ago when it wasn't available, so I just have regular KW coilovers and my car is always in Sport mode. I too am interested to see another member try these and report back.

No coilovers for me. Plan on going airride this year. Guess KW plans on keeping this bypass a secret?

How much do you want to spend? This kit wont be cheap. Probably 3k and up.

The price is 2500 euros for the particular kit.

These KW dealers dont know whats happening. I ask an official dealer in UK and he said that no compatible kit exist for my car. My local dealer states the same as the article in my first post.

2500 for coilovers is over priced.

Dear e funs I haven't been to the forum for a long time. I finally found that will be a waste of time and money to lower my e class coupe. I am at the point where I strongly beleive that There is no company on the market who support e coupe with dynamic handling. Kw was claiming to do that with the kw v3 but 2 of my friends who installed the kw have many problems.the sport button keep stack on sport mode.the connectors with the electronic damping system are not just plug and play.modification needs to be done...means that the original wiring is destroyed. Finally there is a problem adjusting the rear wheels so as not to destroy the rear tyres. Anyone with similar experience ?

I assume springs are not an option for you? I know coilovers are always preferred, but at least with springs you can still go between comf and sport. I only mention it because you just say you want to lower the car.

Hi Doc,

Does this means that changing of springs will not affect the function of our dynamic handling package?

That is correct. I can tell the difference when I go into sport mode; the ride is a little harsher. When I switch back to comfort, I can tell the car is trying to make the ride smoother.
