Audi S3...gone but not forgotten

Grille advice

Think of changing the OEM grille to the single slat that come with newer MBs. Has anyone de-chromed the outer part of the grille surround like the one on this C-class Carlsson? Thinking of getting the 55tech grille below, which has the single slat and then getting the outer frame painted/wrapped gloss black also...yay/nay?

I have that 55tech one you have pictured above, I also have a spare 55tech one that's the same design, but with matte black outer edge, black inner strip, and chrome mercedes logo. It'd probably look nice if you combined the two and just had the outer part black but left the inner line chrome, I say go for it

You need to look for a grille with this type of star - this is the distronic version. Distronic will not work with the other ones.

2011 E350 Cabriolet

I have the 55Tech single fin chrome with silver grille backing. Looks stunning on a white E350 Cabo. My latest mod is getting the MB lighted star modded onto the grille. Talking to 55Tech about that one : )
