I've been scouring this forum for months but only have I something good to say now.

Finally my new E250 arrived Monday last week. Off it went 3 hours later to the custom shop where they wrapped it. Went back in today and got the windows tinted so thought I'd share some pics.

Thanks, I know it's one thing after another!

It was Diamond Silver but the change is unbelievable. I'll get some pics across of before and after.

Not sure if my alloys need to be black now? More expense!

Looks great!

It looks like you had all the chrome wrapped as well huh? I thought about asking my guy to do the same, but the prep work wasn't worth the trouble when spraying vs. vinyl.

Congrats on the new purchase and the wrap - I like the new wrap.
Nice job!

Any further plans for the car?

Thanks for the comments.

Yeah I got them to change all the chrome trim to black using vinyl. Attached gives a better before and after comparison.

Tempted to play with the wheels but I've spent a fair bit on it already so will have to wait till the new year.

Tints are done, looks so much better now but need it to be light enough to get a decent pic

The guy that does them is actually Tint Master in London Colney (just off the M25) He's done 4 cars for me, and plenty of my friends who have some expensive cars, along with most of R-tec's and Revere Range rovers.

Martin on 07850836165

If you mention the wrapped E class he'll know who you mean!

Somehow, driving what essentially looks like a suppository, or altered badged Kia isn't in my realm of hot - muscle car or in elegance!

To come on this site and make this your first posting is somewhat bizarre

It was done to please me, thankfully not you.

Your input is trifling.

I actually came across your car as one of the only satin style finishes on an E Class coupe. My inspiration right there so thank you!

Windows have been done but are a little dark. Easily get pulled over here and they're strict on the front tints. Was debating a black grill and wheels but quite like the silver on the wheels and grill for the mean time.

Snakedoctor how do you find the ride with the different wheels? Look awesome

20s are, obviously, more harsh, but not TOO bad. Choice of tires will make a difference there. The stock 18s with springs is still pretty soft to me. Then again, I'm comparing it versus 20s, haha. I think maybe 19s might be a great middle ground for the car.

Oh, and yeah I wish I would have had the wrap done as well, but figured I'd go with the spray since I wasn't sure how it'd come out. Yours looks REALLY nice and clean.
