Hey Chris, Your Facelift project is a must read for all of us with a 2011 model. While I enjoying reading all of it I’m working on my 2011 E550 cab a little at a time. The part I’m asking about is the transmission position indicator that you have as #A1722670388. My question is will this work in my car without changing the dash switch plate A2079053102. And if so how hard is it to replace and where can i get one. For reference i am located in the U.S.
Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge!

how are you ? Do you still have the Mercedes ? Congrats on the job you did ! I have a E500 coupe 2010 and I’d like to do some mods.
would you consider putting the new aftermarket Screen that’s sold on Aliexpress ? I am tempted to buy one so I can use Apple car play.
How can I send you a PM message ?
Thank you

so bassamsino is wrong?
Use Vediamo and make the following modifications:
CRCM_207 (Deactivate EFS Switch) >>> Reset
Front SAM (Disable EFS) and (Enable Clock) >>> DL_EEPROM_Schreiben >>> Reset
This will enable presenter in facelift Switch panel and Clock will be visible and accessible.

The process you have shown has been inspiring Chris and I've started work on my E250 coupe with the interior silver parts, vents and so on. I've put the clock in and changed the blue connector to the black one with the wiring in the same order as the blue one:
1 - Red
2 - Brown
3 - Grey/yellow
These read from right to left on both connectors plugs. Of course having done so, the clock does not pick up the time from the car's systems.
According to this upgrade video:
The guy plugs it in and the little hands whiz round to the right time - brilliant! Looking at this though, it appears he has three wires to start with but when he plugs the black connector into the clock, it looks as if there are only two being used.
Any help and clarification would be most appreciated and, looking at previous comments, does this actually require software?
