LED Intelligent System any adjustment?

Our 2014 E350 cab has the LED intelligent lighting system. It works well except that the low beams cut out way to close to the car. In other words they need to be raised as they do not illuminate the road far enough ahead. Even the bright lights seem to fall a little short.

Can these be adjusted? Can the dealer do it?

unfortunately, i don't have my c207 anymore. I would have sent you a pic exactly where you can adjust the height of the headlights. Anyways, you can actually do it yourself. On top of the headlight assembly, you'll find a hole and a hex bolt adjustment screw. If you don't have the exact hex bolt, you can use a flat head screw driver wide enought to fit the slot. The adjustment screw is actually made of plastic so be careful not to damage it. You can start adjusting with half-turn increments.
Hope this helps.

Does this look like the hole to which you referred?

Here is another picture of it.

Yup, looks like it... turn the engine on, headlight on, face a wall and start adjustment. Try to do it at night time so you can test drive the car and see for yourself where the headlights aim. Make sure its not too high where it would blind oncoming vehicles.

Thanks! I made the adjustment and it works great. Haven't had anyone flash their lights at me so I don't think I got it too high.

You probably saved my billfold some stress by not having to go to the dealer!

Would this work for a 2013 e350 coupe with bi xenons?? I have the same issue, I never knew the angle of the lights can be adjusted

I couldn't say. You might raise the hood and see if you have these same adjusters. They were easy to turn and quite flimsy feeling. Turning them took little effort with an Allen (hex) wrench. Counter clockwise raised, clockwise lowered. They did not look like adjustment screws and I would not have discovered them without mo11's post.

Yes, they do. Same adjustment. On my older w204, it had bixenons and I adjusted those as well. Its a little different but same principle.

it should be in the headlight housing too... if i remember correctly, left and right adjustment looks like a flat plastic gear with some teeth gear around it, and on top it will have arrows pointing L-R. Again, i may be confusing my headlights, it’s been a while since i had my c207.

I don't see anything that looks like what you're describing here.

I’ll attach a pic of my w205, if you zoom into it you’ll see right on top of that coin looking thing a L-R arrow. Unless, i’ve really gotten confused with all these headlights i’ve come accross, it should look similar.
There’s a dealership nearby, i’ll try to swing by tomorrow and see if they have any used c207 w/ ils led headlights. I can confirm then...
meanwhile, here’s a pic, i hope it helps you figure out what to look for.

I found it... it’ll be a white screw head looking plastic on the corner edge of the headlight assembly. I knew i had my headlights mixed up. Anyways, here’s a pic...

Here's how mine looks like. It looks like there's a plastic covering what you're showing in your photos that's why I can't see what you're showing.

Thanks,

Thanks,
looks like you have a 212 and not a 207. Anyways, try shining a flashlight into those holes.
You might need a thin screw driver to fit if you see the adjustment screw in there.

This is how a 207 assembly looks like...

it looks like it’s different for the w212. You might wanna check this other hole too...

This is the adjustment that you wanna get to. There might be a tab that covers it.
