Digital Manual
With the 2013 E250 CDI that I have just purchased to get to most of the information you have to use the Digital owners manual.
Has anyone downloaded and printed this?
I for one would find it more helpful if it was in paper form.

To answer your question, not that I know of. I sent a msg to MB yesterday via their website begging them to provide some sort of access to the info that doesn't require being in the car. The disc is an ISO file which to my limited knowledge is images rather than editable text. I installed an ISO reader on my computer and was able to see part of what's on the disc. If I saw correctly, there are over 1,500 individual images on it. And to add insult to injury, I could only see the wording and not the "screen shots" of the dash, etc.
As I type this at 0310 CDT north of Houston while listening to the incessant rain (no flooding near me), I have been formulating a plan. I am considering videoing the manual. I can set up the HD camera on a tripod and video running through the screens. Then I can take that video and make an Excel spreadsheet of the basic info that you see first. That would be in alphabetical order. Once I do that, I will think about going back and opening each item and videoing the sub-menus. Still not the actual info, but it will be something. Or I may lie down till the feeling goes away...........

I have good news and bad news. Awhile back I downloaded an iPad app called "Mercedes Guides". I accessed it last night. I downloaded an "M" and a "GL" guide. I was able to see the procedure for using the key fob to open and close the windows, heretofore only available via the onboard digital manual. Then they disappeared, i.e. I would tap the app and it would not load. I did a hard reset and still nothing. Then all of a sudden I got a disclaimer page, and after agreeing to god-knows-what, I was back to accessing the guides. This morning I cannot find the app in the App Store. But I can find it in the Android store. This is exactly what I got on the iPad. Hopefully we can figure out what's going on with Apple.

UPDATE Mercedes Guides on iPhone/iPad
Got an email back just now that the MB app people are working on it in order to get it back into the App Store. Very nice of them to respond. It sort of solves the problem of being able to access the stupid onboard digital manual while away from the car.

Hi, that's the whole problem. I stumbled on the guides by accident. They are downloaded on my iPhone and iPad mini. I don't know of any way to extract them to a printable form. That's what I was trying to do with the ISO disc on the computer. And many helpful people think we are asking for the PDF copies of the Owners and Comand manuals. Best I can do now is to monitor the App Store to see if they show up again. I suppose we could buy cheap Android tablets and download the same app from the Google App store as per link above.

As previously noted, MB Guides for iPhone and iPad no longer exists. According to my iPhone, MB Guides and MB Roadside will stop working if I download IOS 11. I think Roadside is morphing into Mercedes Me. I got an email that they might update the guides for iPhone/iPad. Since they may still be available for Android, I might buy an inexpensive Android tablet on which to download them. What a pain in the ***.......

Update Android
I bought a $37.00 NAXA tablet at Frys today. Long story short I downloaded the Guides app from the Google store and it won't open. Mercedes Me does work. So I contacted the app developer and asked if they think it is the tablet or the app. To be continued.....

Have actually spoken to MB IT. The person said he was going to try to get the app reinstated for iPhone, and see why the app for Android won't open after download. I cannot say if we will get them back, but it won't be for lack of effort. Also, I understand that IOS 11 will not download to my iPad mini because it is too old. So I won't lose the guides on it. But it will download on my iPhone SE but it won't matter losing the guides on the phone.

The MB Guides (shown in iPhone screen shots above with a photo of the iso disc) would do that but they have disappeared because they won't work on IOS 11. You'll see I also tried with Android. Above is one screen shot from the ISO file. I.E. opened it. But as you can see, the graphics didn't open. There 1,987+ files on the ISO disc like this.

Sorry this is bit jumbled. We are not looking for the pdf of the OM. We are trying to access the Digital Owners manual some other way than in the car. I took the chance that whole file would upload. I don't know enough about what I am doing here, sorry to say. Inside the main file was a zip file. So hopefully you'll have everything that was on the disc. Hope that eventually is ok.
