Finally got back to the track after the OE tune. All stock, but did change to Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 back tires. I think the combination of these summer tires with the new found torque allowed for some very good 60ft times .... 1.77 and 1.78. Backed up the best run with a 12.07. It was still a warm day with higher humidity so hopefully will get another chance in October to see 11's....

That's one fast car! I was planning to get the 2017 E550 in March this year. Unfortunately, only two were available in the NJ/NYC area, and both were black, not my choice of color. So I ended up buying the E400. Unfortunate, E550 is no longer available. I will take this over the E43 anytime!

Back to the track this weekend and was a little too anxious to get into the 11's. Pushed too hard off the line and spun badly resulting in two very bad
runs, 13.5 and another that I got no time (just as well) . Made one good run of 12.2. Another complicating factor was the traction control which of course
was turned off. Acted like it wasn't off and the car, besides spinning, pulled the power. Do not understand what happened because last yr I had one
run that I spun a little but it kept the power on and resulted in a 12.9 run. Well, have 6 months now to think about it.

My 2012 E550C (M278 TT-V8) has over 64K miles (over 20K miles with an OE Tune) and has been bulletproof with no issues at all (knock on wood). I'm very happy with the reliability, dependability (and love the tuned performance) of this engine!
