Louder exhaust for e400 coup 2015
Hi everyone, glad to join this community, yesterday I purchased a e400 coupe this is my first not Japanese car, I've had 3 Japanese cars prior to this all scions.
I am just wondering if their is somewhat of an after market type community?
I would like to make my exhaust louder and eventually in the future maybe tune it to make it a little faster(after my warranty expires).
love the car so far it's been amazing! Yay!

I put these, http://quicktimeperformance.com/OVAL/ on the wife's E63 between the spare tire well & differential where there's a ~85° bend in the exhaust. Kept me from having to fab in a y-pipe to mount them. Makes for some awesome cold starts, but it's still quiet for my liking on a car with that much power.

Ssshhhh!! Be and remain quiet. 🤫 We’re not a motorcycle driving lot. Ours is the dignity of understated quality and style. Theirs is another scene (albeit equally fascinating and fun).
Swoosh along, no need to overemphasize your car’s obvious presence.

The E400 engine is a quiet one. . . except at start-up. Then it is a bit tractor-esque. I personally like the fact that it is relatively quiet when warmed. The others never hear me coming.
Think of it this way:
The E63 "beast" has been called "an axe murderer with headlights." If that is so, then the E400 is "a serial killer with headlights." They never see you coming. When the police come looking, all they see (in my case) is the grey haired dude in a grey sedan.

I know to each his own.. but why is everyone trying to make their cars louder? Most people but Mercedes for that silent performance that's quiet when cruising and sound like a beast when your full throttle pulling big speeds.
maybe you should buy a mustang or challenger if you want big noise. The E400 is a luxury coupe that was designed for near silence, you might have the wrong car if you want noise?
My 2 cents..
