2012 E350 Coupe update software?
So here is my predicament. I have a 2012 E350 coupe and the bluetooth is very messed up. When using my iPhone X, the audio constantly stutters until I reauthorize it. When I restart the vehicle, I have to repeat the process. I suspect that I need a software update for my car. How would I go about doing that? Should I go to the dealer? Is there an update I can download and put on a USB? Off topic, but is there a way for me to enter my vin number and see all the packages my car has?

Thank you for the quick reply. I guess I'll just have to go to the dealer and get it done. My other Iphone 7 plus works perfectly fine on it. I do believe that there is an update because I've seen some of them with the same interface look as the 2014 C class that I have.

There is the 2009-2011 system and then the 2012-2015 which have different colour interfaces. Don't believe that was just a software update, but hardware as well.

This is the interface that my '14 C63 has. My E class has the yellow interface (I run mine on nightmode because that yellow is ugly). I have seen some E classes in my year with the same interface as this picture I have attached. My main thing isn't even the color, but the overall style of the interface.

Have you got the hockey stick DRL's or the straight ones? Sounds like you have the MY11 not 12 car and therefore the earlier system. Seeing a lot of people having issues with the latest iPhones with iOS 12 having issues with the Merc bluetooth system.
Either way, get the dealer to check and see if there is an update.

Looking at WIS it may well have been MY12 cars got the body upgrades like the DRL's with NGT4 audio, but it was MY13 cars for the audio upgrade to NGT 4.5. From what I can see sometime mid 2012.. My car is the MY13 (built November 2012 but delivered March 2013) with the straight DRL's and has the silver interface,
Not sure if the older interface can be software updated to the newer as I believe it is different hardware. That doesn't mean there isn't an update to NGT4 though.
My MGT4.5 looks similar to your other car but not quite, I think that may be NGT4.7.
