Trying to change the seats in my A207 (leather heated) to the ventilated multi-contour ones. Installed the seat today and all "old" functions (movement, heater, neck heater, memory) are working properly.
After looking through multiple threads and dozen of google searches I hope someone can help or pinpoint me in the right direction.
Neither multi-contour, nor ventilation is working.:
Similar project got ventilation working though engineering mode, unfortunately the codes listed are not the same/none existent: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...2014-e350.html. Removed the cap on the center console control panel and the physical switch is present. Could also order the new correct control panel as part number is different.
From looking at the wiring there seems to be some major difference, would a new harness solve this problem? VIN of donor vehicle: WDDKK7DF5CF173286
Hope some can help on this topic, otherwise maybe hard wiring the pump and ventilators. Will work through all the wiring and connectors on the weekend. Could someone provide the voltage and pin configuration for the pump?
Short update:
- Ventilation is not working as the LIN bus wire is not existing in my car, will work and see if I can get a summer/winter solution through the neck heater/vent working with easy switch solution (behind back panel)
- Multicontour seat working through DIY solution. Got a small hand pump ($10) and adapters to manually inflate the seats air bags. Not the prettiest solution but no wiring needed and 3-4 strokes are enough to inflate one bag. Maybe helpful for people with broken air pumps as well.
