Looking for new tires

After 24K, I need new tires. I have research extensively at Tirerack. Although Mich. Pilot Sport A/S 3+ is rated high, but the reviews from many buyers deemed it to be noisy. I don't like noisy tires regardless of performance. I have narrowed down to Conti DWS 06. Anyone has experience with the DWS 06?

Sorry I may be late but I just replaced my original Pirelli P Zero's with the Mich A/S Sport 3+ tires and will say they are awesome. They ride so much nicer and smoother. The steering is very precise and as stiff as it should be. I have not noticed any noise per say just new rubber gripping when making short turns with windows open. I have always been a fan of Michelin and have them on all of my cars. I will say these new tires are the best thing for my 2011 eCab!!

Flash, please let us know what you went with. Like you, I don't like noisy tires either, regardless of how well they perform.

I am up for new tyres very shortly, currently on my second set of conti contact sports with maybe 1,000 kms left on them and I have 34,000 kms on the car. They don't give very good mileage, I have got about 15,000 kilometres out of this set. I am only doing city journeys so I think that weighs heavily on them. These tyres are expensive over here circa $500 each for rear and $450 each for fronts. I probably should try another brand as I think the mileage is atrocious for someone who is a quiet driver who travels 18 kms to work in city traffic. It is a bit better than my C63 used to get but not much.
i will read the threads on here about tyres to see what people generally think about different brands.
i think the torque of the engine plays a major role on these quite heavy cars even if you don't race off the lights.

I'd recommend the Michelin PS4. It's grippy, wears really well and is a Michelin

Anyone has experience with firestone firehawk 500's?

Considering a set for my summer tires. I have a set of winters that I run in the winters.

Or should I just get all seasons so I'm not grounded when there is some snow on the ground?

I'm considering the following all seasons:

Michelin Pilot a/s 3+
Conti DWS06
BFG Comp 2's

I went with the Conti tires that I originally planned to purchase. I only have a couple of hundred miles on them so the review is a little too early. Nevertheless, I like it. It cushions the road well when going over cracks and small bumps, and not noisy on the highway. I don't want to push it too hard due to break in period. I will give it a review after a couple of thousand miles. So far, so good!

Unless you have a 4Matic car, you'll want real snow tires on these coupes...

Yeah, I already have a set of winter tires that I use in the winter.

I'm looking for suggestions for my summer/all season tires

I highly recommend Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+. Just put them on an older C230 and they transformed the car's handling, greatly improved ride quality. If my E400 were not a lease car I would swap out the runflats. They ride like rocks.

I just placed Mich Pilot Sport AS +3 on my 2011 ecab and its the best tire I have on my cars. Love the quiet ride, smooth and the steering of car is much improved.

Still have the original Michelin Primacy MXM4 on ours at 21k miles, hardly any wear... quiet , well at least as quiet as a Cab can be

got be more than 1/8 away from the wear bars front and rear...

I'm with you, on these Michelins. I love them. They really track and drive wonderfully... no noise, that I can tell.

I ran the Conti DWS 06. Great all year tire. Had them in 3in of snow. Quiet and good in rain.

I’d swap them out anyways, and keep them with good enough tread for lease return. That’s what I did with my runflats.

I put a new set of conti contact sport 5 on today. $1180 for the 4 which I thought was pretty good. They give crap mileage but seem to work quite well. My 3rd set.
