Hello everyone, yesterday I came across one of the most pristine E350’s I had ever seen and I had to get it. My previous car was a 2013 VW Passat SE and it gave me nothing but trouble and I was more than happy to trade that In for this. It Is a 2010 E350 Coupe with roughly 26,700 miles on the dash. The car is in such good condition and I would absolutely love to maintain it at such a level. The engine looks easy enough to clean and everything seems right there, nothing hidden away. I am hoping some people on this forum could have some advice for me pertaining to the best way to keep this car running for another century.
I plan on doing as much as I can myself, but any suggestions on types of things that could be done perhaps as preventative measures would be appreciated. I would hate to not be able to give this to my future son in 25 years. Thankyou for all the advice I may or may not receive! Cheers boys.
I purchased an oil extractor years ago for use on my 2008 C350 and now I use it on my 2012 E350. It saves me some cash doing oil/air filter changes myself.

Yeah the only downside is that since you run it off an air compressor it can be a little loud while it's extracting. Other than that it does a good job. Can't tell you when I was under a car last.

what type of oil do you use? I have been recommended Royal Purple W50 and it’s almost time to do my reg maintenance.
I use Mobil 1 like the sticker says. lol. I've very **** though about following rules and directions. Amazon has the European Blend Mobil 1 in 5qt jugs. Get 2. Make sure it's the European blend, it will literally say European blend for Audi, Mercedes, BMW, yadda yadda yadda. They have the filters too.

On the oil extractor you can get one with hand pump ,works very nice .Then you don't need a compressor .When you service your car check all fluids and follow your owners manual for maintenance required .Any repair or service use good parts and correct fluids if should last a long time.
