Not the best morning.

Dang, just had someone turn left in front of me, streets were rain slicked and they basically ignored my brake application.

So painful to see that photo.
Left turning traffic is among my worst nightmares (I ride bikes, so even worse then).
I see a WA plate - PNW driving is sucky this time of year, for sure.

I hope she gets fixed soon!

sad to see but once it has been properly repaired you wont notice it. Smile, at least you and or the family are not injured

yep, at the scene I looked at the damage and said "it did it's job" I barely even felt a jostle. No sore back or neck, all that damage was in the crumple zone, as it didn't leak any antifreeze of other fluids after impact, and I was able to drive it out of the intersection. It's at the body shop now, hopefully back soon.

So in the end it my coupe was not able to be saved, as the damage went back into the engine cradle, and Pemco totalled it out. On the plus side the other driver's insurance accepted 100% liability without even speaking to me, and I wasn't out my deductible. I enjoyed my two and a half months with my coupe, but when shopping for a replacement found a 30K mile diamond white with black interior W212 so I will likely be spending my forum time over there.

Sounds good! I hope you're happy with that outcome and GL on the hunt for the next car
