Three years ago we purchased a Certified 2016 E400 4matic Coupe from a local dealer. We love this car!! (It is our 6th MB.)
I have a couple of questions. I just replaced the auxiliary battery located in the trunk due to the fact that I was getting the "Auxiliary battery malfunction" message on the dash display. When I replaced it I noticed a couple of things: 1. Two of the three trim rivets that secure the auxiliary battery trim cover, are missing. I have searched on line for the part number for these but haven't been successful. Does anyone here know the part number? 2. I noticed that the molded plastic threaded stud that secures the spare tire in place to the trunk floor is sheared off. It appears that that the whole plastic tray that this threaded stud is an integral part of , would require replacement. Has anyone here experienced this problem and how did they resolve it?
I could go to the local dealer and have them correct both of these issues, but you all know how expensive that would be,
Thanks in advance for your help and guidance.
Ed
Wheel well underneath is part # 2046100575, associated screw laying in well (if need be) is 1698980065, expansion rivet to battery cover is 20199002929051.

Thanks. None of the dwgs or the pdf show what I am referring to. See the attached picture of my car to see what I am referring to.) I understand that the sheared threaded stud is part of the plastic tray beneath the grey tray.
This a picture of what I am looking for for my car. (This is one for sale on ebay and it is broken.) I will also need the threaded plastic stud that locks into the center of the tray, to which the spare tire and the tools tote secures onto.
