headlight bulb replacment on A207 2012 with Bi xenon headlights
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me what model headlight bulb to use on 2012 A207 with the bi xenon headlights? My drivers side low beam has turned purple and lost most of the light. Is it a D2S or what ?
I plan on getting both low beam bulbs and replace them as a pair. Dont want anything but stock levels of light and color.
dont know if it makes a difference but it does have the adaptive headlight feature ( auto high beam )
LMK

i went ahead and bought the OEM MB units. they come with the metal box on each bulb. FYI My local independent shop says there have been issues with the wiring to the headlights becoming corroded and they would check. IIRC MB may have been using biodegradable wiring . Can anyone confirm if the 2012 E350 A207 suffered from this?
Obviously, if corroded, have to replace wiring..... $$$ to replace so info would be greatly appreciated......

Was the light output better after change of bulbs or it is the same?

I will find out Tuesday when it goes to the shop for the replacement bi-xenon bulb install. since the driver side is blown, anything would be better than zero light... lol

yep no issues on the wiring. Drivers and passenger were replaced together so no difference but they are brand new bulbs. Brighter than before ? mebbe but do not have a before and after lumens check.

IIRC I got the main beams as a pair from FCP Euro. Came in OEM MB boxes with the modules as well. IIRC the pair was $600. Passenger side is fairly straight forward...Drivers side you have to remove the wheel and wheel well liner to access the bulb that way.
if the passnger side is out, the drivers side isnt far behind..FCP Euro has a free warranty and return policy so take advantage of it.
