Bolsters don't work!

This problem continues to haunt the seats, both seats. The seat bolsters don't seem to inflate at all on both seats. They don't seem to get any power. I've checked ALL the fuses (one by one), but I don't know if there is relay that activates the seats? Fuse numbers 44-30A and 45-30A seem to be the seat adjustment fuses according to the fuse chart and they are dead. I don't know why they're dead? There is also a relay that is very hot, but I don't know what it's for. I have not heard any motors or small compressors activate anywhere on both seats. Is there a relay that activates the bolster?

207: check f60 (7.5A) @ rear SAM in trunk = pneumatic pump. If fine, provide VIN to identify feature code, function differs between models, model year, etc. Could be leak, could be CU.

Do the other functions work? If the relay is hot, the pump could be burned out.

44 & 45 = seat adjustment switches given this info check beneath seat for moisture, and if all wiring is intact. Associated relay F.

but which is the relay? Need to find the right relay? Now, I did find a relay that was rather hot.

Would the steering wheel still work and the memory seats if relay F was hot or "burned out"?

Last eight digits in VIN are EF240801 is usually what the dealer asks me for. The part # for the vacuum pump the dealer gave me is 000 800 33 48. Let me know what that controls?

I had the same problem last year. The repair bill was over $4k (the dealer paid). It worked for a few months... then it died. I gave up.

Best,

Mark
