New C238

I bought a new 2017 C238 last October and was never happy due to numerous problems, after months of trips to the dealer and letters of complaint, it was agreed that I would swap the car for a 2019 version, I paid for a few extra's.

The new car is amazing, everything works and behaves as I think a Mercedes should, the command and infotainment are massively improved.

It's been a long battle but hopefully I can now start to enjoy my motoring again.

Uhhhh. What country do you live in and how do you already have a 2019? Many of us ordered 2019’s, which have been built and transported to VPC’s where they have been held to wait for the model-year launch date.

My 2019 Cab has been sitting in Baltimore since July 5 with no signs of leaving.

I am in the UK, it's the 2019 model year, I was told it wouldn't arrive till September but I got a call to say it had been brought forward and it arrived last week.

Congratulations! Apparently MB UK likes it’s customers more than MB USA does. We are all stuck while our cars rot at the VPCs

Yeah but how long are they going to have it sitting there, rotting waiting for an arbitrary launch date? :-(

That's crazy, if the cars there and ready you should be allowed to collect it, hope you get it soon.

Are the wheels the AMG Multi-Spoke Blacks? I have those ordered for my coupe with the Senite Grey and I keep going back and forth on the choice.

Its not MBUSA who is holding back cars. Its the mountain of DOT regulations that need to be satisfied for MY 19 vehicles before they are released. So sit back and relax. No MY 19's until October.

What kind of issues did you experience with your C238?

Mostly with the command and infotainment system, slow performance and constant crashes, also the parking sensors were temperamental and the boot would open by itself.

Hope this helps
