Same question - where did you get the grill? Does the bumper have to be removed in order to install it?

Did you intentionally leave out the AMG badge in the grill of the E53 or was it not available?

Not available. My fender and trunk lid badges are also removed and now I get almost no one wanting to drag race.

I removed the badges on my E53 too, except for the “AMG” in the grill.

So it's not just me??? Since the first day I drove the E53 Cabriolet home from the dealership, I have had everything from souped up (and loud) rice racers to BMWs and other MBs drivers speeding up/driving recklessly when notice me drive by. Coming from driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee, I was very unfamiliar with that aspect of driving.

Maybe the answer is to remove all E53 badging and replace it with an E200 badge on the trunk lid? This was Merc’s entry level E class sedan with a 2.0 liter, turbo four cylinder, rated at 184 hp with a 0-60 time of about 8.3 seconds.

Hi, did you have to order the emblem separately? And did the grill affect any of the camera tech, etc? I'm purchasing a 2018 E-Class 400 Coupe, but want the pana grill.

The emblem is an integrated part of the grill that I ordered so no separate emblem was needed. And, though I anticipated that my shop would have to re-calibrate the front camera, it did not. The camera simply slipped into its place in the new part and worked perfectly as did all of the other tech.

Sorry! My mind is off to a slow start today. Now that I think about it, the grill that I’ve installed came with no emblem. The factory emblem (which contains some sensors) was simply installed in the center opening in the replacement grill. The opening for the camera is just above the emblem. The Panamera grill that I got is of very high quality - perfect molding and an exact fit. It was a very straightforward swap aside from the fact that the entire one-piece front bumper cover and grill surround have to come off.

Sorry for my confused recollection!
