Piggybacks will work. Basically they tell the engine management to give more turbo boost and fueling automatically corrects for the extra load. I really see nothing wrong with piggybacks plus it is easily removed with a single connector to the boost sensor and then is simply not there. With a tune it can be detected easily and if something expensive fails the car can easily be flagged and warrantee voided.

I would attempt to find a tune from a tuner like Kleeman or Renntech or Eurocharged. I have experience with them and they have been great. I have no experience with race chip but if nothing else is offered then the Race Chip might be your only shot at more BHP.

Does nobody read my posts. There is the Dinan. They make good stuff. Like I said don’t count on the Bluetooth app working very good but the tune is awesome. Very nice increase in low to mid range torque. Not a super lot more top end HP but just makes the car a lot more drivable. I did a lot of research on tunes and realistically with the 3.0 TT V6 your not really gonna see much more than with the Dinan. Most tune advertise just 50 or 60 extra hp with at least the OBD 2 tune. Some advertise 100 extra hp and I think that’s bunk.

Yes, that is the correct part number, it will work fine. Hardest part is getting the connector off for the sensor, just take a thin flathead screwdriver and slide it in between the sensor and the connector then the connector will slide right off. It's kinda tight working in there, the smaller your hands the more easy the job will be. Once you've done it it's like a 2 minute job if that. First time takes a little longer figuring things out. Good product though, for around 300 dollars can't go wrong. I asked them at Dinan why not list newer models, they said they will but it just takes time to catch up with updating of data base. A lot of sites you look on with this part number it even it lists it working on the 2019 SLC AMG which is essentially the same 3.0 with bigger turbos and different tuning. Pretty much all this thing does is up the boost in race mode by 4 psi, my suggestion is just to leave it in race mode all the time. As I said changing modes with the intermittent connection for the app can be frustrating. But you should be able to change modes. It comes in the Sport mode as the default so up it to race mode. You'll know when you get it in that mode as the screen in the app will be highlighted red in that mode when it takes it, just a matter of playing around with it a little at first. A lot of people complain about the shakey blue tooth app. Not sure why they did not make it Wifi like the newer ELM OBD 2 scanners are these days.
