When I ordered my ‘21 coupe they told me no massage seats for the rest of ‘21 orders - at two different dealers. They keep assuring me mine is “being built now” but are supposed to give me a date Monday. Not holding my breath.

Yesterday the local dealer said I could add the massaging seats to my MY22 Coupe order but it would push delivery from Sep to Nov/ Dec. I declined adding it!

In April could not order a 2021 E450 Convertible. So was able to order a 2021 E450 Coupe with a build date end of May but certain options I could not get. First of June was told It would be built end of June with a option not available which I can live with out. So we will see if at the end of June if it gets built. If not just might tell them I will wait for a 2022 E450 Coupe or Convertible.

When ordering Dealer asked if I wanted to order a c cabriolet said was no issue in getting and options where all available. Just wanted a bigger car. Hope all turns out well.

Just had my 2021 E450 Coupe order cancelled due to of all things, no red paint for the remainder of the model year. LOL
Dealer is entering an order for. MY22 which looks like a July build with an August delivery. Best guess at this point. I added massaging seats and augmented Nav to the original order.
Another roll of the dice. 😂
Update 2: MY 22 Coupe officially entered into the ordering system today. Now mid- Aug build for a mid-Sep delivery. We’ll see how that turns out. Massaging seats apparently not available for coupes, or at least E450.

I posted this on another thread yesterday, but I had a discussion with a friend who is a MB dealer the other evening:
Even after a few glasses of wine, my Mercedes dealer friend would not confirm or deny the C and E class coupe and cab are to be discontinued. He did say that at the moment, he has one E class cab coming in for stock, and none confirmed beyond that in the order slots that the dealership had placed. Indeed, after searching all of the Mercedes dealers in Tennessee, at the moment there is one C class cabriolet in inventory, that's it, and zero E class. Doing a national search in CarGuru, they show thirteen E class cabs in dealer inventory at this moment.
After going through the litany of the scarcity of chips, tires, and various other parts, throwing the impact of Covid on production rates, et al., he did note that the resurrection of the CLE is a possibility, something akin to the A207 size replacing both C & E class models. His best guess is that the '22 C & E coupes and cabs will be very limited in production scheduling, and dealers will be charging a premium for the ones that they do have in inventory, not knowing if there will be a significant supply forthcoming.
Surging sales of the SUVs, lagging sales of coupes and cabs, MB investment in EQ platforms, and a very strong focus on profitability of each model is driving the overall decision by MB. His advice; if you have an E cab or coupe, and enjoy them, hang on to them.

Car is on boat but the car is missing the Hermes Module and if I want car I have to sign waver and the module can be installed at a later date which dealer said should be in January. Well I signed wavier not sure If I should have. Dealer said car should arrive at dealership end of August or first of July. Will keep you posted. Will let you know what the car cannot do due to not having module was told it would be most to do with phone connection and wireless.
