2022 release date E450
Looks like new inventory is nearly at 0 for E450 cabriolet in the US. Looking to purchase a black with saddle interior but there are none available or due to come in for the remainder of the year. Only option appears to be to order a 2022. Does anyone have any idea of when those might arrive in US? Will be my first MB. Have driven a 3-series convertible for years and love it but dislike the new 4-series so moving on to MB. As a newbie, any advice would be appreciated.

I have an E450 cab on order and worry that it will arrive just as 2022's are coming out. Still no word on any changes from 21 to 22 model year.

Thanks ... doesn't look like big changes. I ordered the Adaptive Lights on my build. I'm sure base price of the 22 will be increased now that the lights are standard, maybe not by as much as ordering them separately, but I guess we'll have to see. I managed to get $2350 below invoice (which I guess is not too bad of a deal on a special order) Where did you find the MY 22 info?

2021 c300 Cab. Arrived 7/28/21 . 24 GLE 450e.
I have ordered a C300 cabriolet. They are telling me June. I think it’s a guess. There is no build date.
Moved to July.

2016 C300 4Matic traded in for a 2022 E450 Coupe
Just had my 2021 E450 Coupe order cancelled due to of all things, no red paint for the remainder of the model year. LOL
Dealer is entering an order for. MY22 which looks like a July build with an August delivery. Best guess at this point. I added massaging seats and augmented Nav to the original order.
Another roll of the dice. 😂
Update 2: MY 22 Coupe officially entered into the ordering system today. Now mid- Aug build for a mid-Sep delivery. We’ll see how that turns out. Massaging seats apparently not available for coupes, or at least E450.

Well, looks like I'll be getting a 2022 after all! The dealer just sent me an email stating that my 2021 order would be changed to a 2022. No word yet on any changes to my build, timing or price change! I sure hope that there isn't!!

I don’t think they will change the deal you made. However, the price will probably go up. My C300 cabriolet has been pushed back to June build. However, since a redesigned C300 has been announced, and there was no mention of a convertible, I don’t know what I’ll be getting.

Also was told even if car is built & shipped to US,Mercedes may hold '22 models on storage lot until released to dealers.
I'm surprised with the increased car demand & low inventory, dealers would be willing to dicker on retail price since if you don't take it,they won't have trouble finding someone who will.

My family has been getting letters from local MB dealers trying to negotiate lease close-out and trade up to a new MB. Really? I looked at the fine print on their offer and you have to laugh at them…..

Massaging seats, seems like something to cross off... I've never had them before my '18 coupe. My wife and I LOVE them.

We just canceled our order for the 2022 E Convertible and instead ordered a GLE450 4MATIC. Our production slot is scheduled to be in October since Air Matic Suspension was already booked for September's allocations of GLE's. Perhaps your Multicounter Seat issue is facing the same restrictions. I would ask the dealer again to re-confirm with MB. Very strange that a whole car line is denied a major option. Good luck.

There was a black with saddle cabriolet at RBM In Atlanta. A CPO with 350 miles, like new. Might check on line. It is the dealer in Sandy Springs, not Alpharetta.
Just ordered a MY2022 cabriolet. Dealer assumes pricing will be very close to 2021. Indicated he will work with pricing to get close to the 2021 pricing. Guess I’ll see whenever it gets to Nashville.
