Our 2019 A238 cab has the button 'in the badge'; just press on the top of the badge and the trunk opens; also the rear view camera is located within that badge base as well. (see green arrow in photo) Add to that the hands free / foot under the bumper opening, and the button on the drivers door, and you have options.
You're right about the trunk room; although with the top up, you can retract the box in the trunk that houses the folding mechanism and there is a bit of decent luggage space; also you can lay the rear seats down into the interior giving you some additional space. But two people to Florida with golf clubs and gear is a challenge!

Sorry about the confusion, we are talking about the C-coupe/convertible (C205 and A205) not E-coupe/convertible (C238 and A238).
I believe the confusion is because we are talking about a C-Class on an E-Class thread. I am sorry about that. Forum member Elvisfan0108 has a C-Class.

I guess one of the reasons the C Cab does not have a button on the trunk is the fact that the trunk opening and closing is not controlled at all it just pops up quickly. I have had the key FOB out in the few months I’ve had this car more than than I have in the years that keyless entry has been available. As stated, the height is restricted, but the trunk is deep. Not as much room as my Bmw did. But not bad.
The lack of both a button or easy access to the trunk was a key reason why we bought a 2020 E Cab. Don't understand why MB did not put at least a button on the C Cab.

That is fair I mean part of the fun is learning everything ourselves, right? When we discover something cool about the vehicles ourselves, we will be like wow that is so cool!

Yeah me too. A whole lot of it was learned by watching the YouTube videos by Nick O'Leary. So many things in there you would never find out yourself, or figure out from the manual. If you just watch the handful of Tricks and Tips videos you learn an amazing amount of stuff.
3 weeks and still just sitting at the factory awaiting shipment. Apparently shipping on the east coast is backed up just like the west coast is/was. Anyone want to split the cost of a 747 freighter and go pick up cars?? Lol
Car has been assigned to a boat. Dealer says that means it should be on an ocean voyage in the next 5-10 days. One small step for mankind!
Dealer reached out and said there was an E53 allocation that came open. It already had a build set up but I could change whatever I wanted so I took it. Supposed to be here in May.
The only thing I asked for that he said wasn't available was augmented nav, which wasn't a deal breaker.
I noticed in my E 53,the back top inside trunk area shows bare metal with adhesive blobs where wires come out.
At first I thought the company forgot to put some cloth covering over it.
But on You Tube,I saw new E53's at the dealer that had the same bare metal.
My car is assigned to a boat in Germany at port, as of a few days ago. I'd imagine it's going to be around a month until I see her. Registration is due on old leased vehicle - guess I gotta call dealer to figure this one out. So close, so far.
Still scared to see if options are missing / touchscreens are smaller as some users reported.
