2023 E Cabriolet timing
Anyone have any information on when or if the 23's will be built and released? I have a 22 on order which is scheduled to be built mid July and wonder if it will stick as a 22 and that build date.
Thanks

Well today the dealer told us that our 22 is actually a 23 which is scheduled to be built on July 19th. We have a vin number, but are now concerned that the car might sit at the VPC waiting for certification.
And now we do not have a firm price anymore.

There are several sites reporting that the 2023 Cab base price will be $74650 which will include the metallic paint. Don't know if this is correct or not, but it is the only number I can find so far.

Ours is at the port in Germany with a ship assigned but no name attached so far. Hopefully it will be underway soon. Still have not heard of any 2023 Cabs delivered as of yet.

Mine is a 2023 Coupe and not a Cabriolet, but I just placed my order yesterday and was told it would be built and completed by mid-October. From what I could tell, the dealer order system already has build dates set. In other words, their allocations are pre-defined in the Mercedes system.

Our 23 cab is on route aboard Auto Eco and should arrive at the GA VPC around the 20th of the month. No idea if it will be held there for the release of the 23s.

And the boat has now left Brunswick and is traveling East. Hopefully, the car is now at the VPC! Still no word on whether or not there will be a delay because it is a 23.

Yes, it will be the afternoon of January 12th. In all seriousness, it’s a crap shoot. Not even MB HQ has any reliable information on delivery timelines.

Ours was built on July 19th and made it to the VPC on August 22nd. Still waiting there as it does not appear the 23's have been released as of yet. I have no word on when they might be!

Was at out dealer today and they got their first 23 E Cab RWD and mine is released after only four months since production. For three months it has been sitting at the VPC with no issues but they did update some software yesterday.
Now I hope the trucker is on his way soon.

Car is at the dealer and we will pick her up late today.
Just wanted to thank the members of this forum who helped us during the 7 month wait. At least it showed we were part of a very large group waiting for cars. Hope all that are still waiting get them soon.

No dashcam, no MB logo puddle lights. Blamed on 2023 changes. But, I'm happy with it. Puzzling through the manual now!

And to help other users of Mercedes Me...
Only 10 of the available 35+ services were authorizing. Called the helpdesk. The nice young lady suggested logging out of the app. I had the sinking feeling "Dang, that is going to work, I should have thought of that".
It worked.
I should have thought of it.
All remote start/lock/etc. worked immediately.
