Mercedes E Class E300 Cabriolet
Question Lets talk about diffusers!

Im looking at updating the rear diffuser on an E300 Cabriolet (A238). Does anyone have any instructions on how to do this?

The below options are what I am currently looking at on ebay.

Has anyone had any experience with this and can offer any advice please?

Many Thanks.

2023 E-Class Coupe (C238)
I am expecting my E450 Coupe here before Thanksgiving. I ordered the diffuser package from CKS Performance in the UK. I won't be receiving it until Monday, but I'll say they have been very responsive, and my order was shipped quickly. The package includes all the parts for a bit over $800 + shipping. I'm going to have my dealer install it when my car gets here in a week or so. It looks like a pretty straightforward bolt-on. I just really don't feel like crawling under a car anymore.

I don't have a pic of the finished product yet as the car is not here, but the package arrived yesterday. Here is a pic of the tailpipe extensions which are black as I have the night package. They are OEM factory parts, brand new. I have to tell you that CLK Performance in the UK is great to work with. I'll be buying more from them in the future. If you look closely, you can see "AMG" stamped on the back of the parts.

Looking at that same kit for my 2022 Coupe. Glad to hear CKS is a good place to order from and how quick it arrived. On a side note I just got the "modern spare" kit which now resides in the trunk...

I would be cautious with this purchase. First, on the red car, the tips on the car itself look far different than those shown below the car. Also, nowhere does it say that these are OEM factory parts. I don't know if that's a big deal to you or not, but I definitely wanted factory parts for my car as I wanted to be sure that they would fit properly. The parts I received from CKS are stamped AMG and have the Mercedes part number barcode stickers on them. In addition, CKS's website clearly states everywhere that these are OEM parts, so I know it's the real deal. Again, it may not matter to you, but I'd be wary. I'm buying an $80,000 car and I don't want to spend money to hang a bunch of ABS plastic on it. Just my $.02.

Well Archangel60 I just placed the order with CKS. They called me from UK like an hour later...impressed. Went over the order and should ship in a week or so (had to get part from Germany first)
I'm gonna do the install myself so Ill update once the parts arrive in NJ.

thanks for taking the first step!

Looks great! I'm considering the same, can you advise if the horizontal silver colored trim line is simply painted? a coating on the plastic? or a metal trim strip attached to the PP bumper? Thanks.

It’s a plastic trim piece that came mounted to the diffuser chrome finished
I don’t have the night package so I ordered the chrome version

they also have a night package version which doesn’t have the chrome accent

Agreed. It was something of a pain to install without instructions I could probably do it half the time now.
