1984 Mercedes Benz 300D 4 Door Sedan
'84 300D Sedan Driver's Seat
Can anyone tell me how to remove the driver's seat from an '84 300D Sedan? I Have the nuts off the front bolts but I absolutely cannot figure out how to get the back loose. I tried unscrewing the 2 screws on top but that does no good. I am stumped and the Chilton's I have is useless. I'll greatly appreciate any help here. Jim

I have a similar problem with my wagon. I completely understand how to get the seat out since i've done it on the passenger side, BUT my drivers seat will not slide upwards at all. It must be jammed or something cause i've been spraying PB Blaster down the rails and it still won't budge. Any ideas?? i'm gonna be a rich man as soon as I get that seat out...
