road tax
I don't want to make anyone mad however I am confused with the whole roadtax issue.
Please explain this further. I understand these taxes go toward repairing the roads. I get that. What I don't get is the fact that electric vehicles are not given any type of road tax. What makes that any different than running veggie oil as fuel?
I also know that their is no tax on fuel additives. I am unable to find the definition of an additive or any break down on what ratio of additive to fuel is allowed.
If you were to put in 1 gallon of taxed diesel and 15 gallons of additive (doesn't matter what the additive is) then as I understand the current laws, This would be legal!
Please correct me if I am wrong.
and remember don't get mad I am only trying to learn about this stuff. I want to do everything legally.
If anyone knows more on this subject please explain it further.
Thank You

They do it legally.
SVO and WVO are not additives, they are a non-certified replacement/supplementary fuel.
Wrong. That is fuel substitution.
Perhaps if you knew the definition of the word first.
Replacing 90% of the primary fuel is not a small amount, its the majority.
Vegetable oil not converted into BioDiesel is not legal to power a vehicle on public roads at all, even if you pay taxes on it.

The signature is limited to 500 characters, I had to word it compactly and that was the best way to write it. EDIT: There, I worded it differently, happy?
You seem to have me confused with someone that doesn't know what they are doing.
