Does anyone have any info about the origin or model these wheels came off of? Thanks in advance!

Yep. not factory. Many 3rd party wheels can still accommodate factory MB center caps.
I'm not entirely sure of that brand, though I've seen those wheels before... but I'd guess Rota or Ronal, to start.
