It wasn't anything big. He just thought of the idea of how maybe when the club got going and futher into it that we should buy a W124 and make it insane with our money. lol

nice car.

I read that you're debating on getting HIDs or White Bulbs. Are you going to get Euro's first or install them on the stock headlights?

I see...you know this is actually a common practice in the lowrider world...the club purchases a real ***** bucket for dirt cheap and then gives it the works. The club then enters the car in various shows and the club (if the car wins it's class(es) gets the trophies and sometimes if the car is really hot...a magazine spread. THEEEEEN after the season is done...they sell the car and the money goes in the clubs treasury. As I said, if the car's a winner on the show circiut and it's been in some mags, it can fetch some good money. They then spend the money on whatever the club votes on i.e., X-Mas party/dance,BBQ/picnic, club house,etc..you get the picture. I've even heard of a club that had invested the money they made in the stock market!

well for 300 go down to the guy who did my lights. i think it was 300-400 for HID's. he's in pasadena.

LnkPrkSoldier,

If you currently have 300 dollars in your budget, then I suggest if you want to go Euro to order from this Ebay Seller, a couple of my friends have bought prodcuts from him including me.

You'll get everything you need and you can possibly talk him down with the price, just tell him a couple of people referred you when you email him. Fast shipping too, you might as well get the corner lights from him too.

there's really no point in getting HID's for your current headlights, you'll have to get HID's to go with your 9004 plugs, so save yourself the hassle and money and wait until you get Euros with the H4s.

Hmm...he doesn't appear to have them on ebay right now, but I'll back with you on it along with other sellers who are pretty good.

LnkPrkSoldier, if I were you, I wouldn't jump straight to HID's anyway. Like Chris said there really is no point with your current lenses. My advice would be to switch to Euro spec headlights first and see how you like the improved lighting with them. You may like them so much that you decide not to get HID's and save your money for something else. Again just my advice and opinion. But either way you'll need to get the Euro headlights. :p

Save your money and get Euros. You can get them from Importvision or something like that now for around $250. Ask Alon aka Ashman , I think he got them from them.

Or from here: http://www.katmac.com/neww124hl.htm $258 with the trim panels and it comes with super white xenons. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

Cali, importvision.com is a very good seller, although he takes awhile to ship, but overall I like his products. I order so far two smoked corner lights from him.

LnkPrkSoldier, like what professor posted. The kit does from with bulbs but I would only use those temporarily and upgrade to HID's or PIAAs after when you have the funds.

The Kit is $239.00, and if you want the trim panels it'll be Including Trim Panels: $258.00. Custom paint for your car will most likely be 30 dollars since thats what I paid. Heck, if you need someone to install, maybe someone on the boards or me will help you. Or I could guide you with the install. Either way it's a definate easy DIY job. Oh and by the way, of course clear corners wont look good on your current set up since its still stock. but remember, its all about taking steps.

X03, you can get clear corners from www.importvision.com. they are very good quality, if they werent I wouldnt have ordered two from him. Should cost around from 25-40. Or you can locate the Ebay Seller Katmac Imports, occasionally he will have corner lights, but majority of the time he will.

dude....this is getting annoying, but everytime i post on the forums it gies me:

"There seems to have been a slight problem with the MBWorld.org Forums database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience."

i mean my post will be there, but as you can see on the main forums my name wont be listed as someone who posted last. and now i want to start a new thread to show pics i just took of my car wash, but i cant because it gives me this freakking error!!!!

Is it really that close? I thought West Covina was a little bit farther.
