Some sort of aftermarket exhaust?
I have a 94 E420 and would like a little more tone to it. I really wanted a renntech but I heard they don't make them for the car anymore? Does anyone know of a good tuned exhaust I can buy that is made for the car. ANY help/info would be appreciated. thanks

OK thanks for the replies. How does the Reemus sound? Also how loud is it and does it do away with the resonator? Does it add any hp over the stock exhaust? Sorry for all of the questions but where can I oreder one online?-Thanks-

Thats cool,I like Magnaflow ALOT. My friend has one on hbis F-350 Turbo diesel. Really good sound to it. I just wanted to know where I could get a Remus though>?

I have a Remus and I love the sound it makes. It's not too loud or rice-a-rific. Just a bit more bass... Try your local speedshop or tuning shop...any retailer should be able to contact Remus directly.

haha nice car. So is there anywhere I could order the exhaust online if possible because im not sure of any local shops like that around here?

Yea I think they did too. I am just probably going to give up on getting an exhaust. Mine has a pretty good growl when you really get on it. Another reason I probably won't get one is because the cops don't pay as much attention to quiet cars.

Go to a custom muffler shop. they should be able to put together a nice system for you.
You can get a universal remus and any competent muffler shop can put it in. The thing I love about the remus is its not much louder than stock unless you get on the pedal. it is fairly quiet otherwise. a nice grumble at idle, no droning at highway speeds, and under WOT, it has a nice growl.
I got my remus for $100 plus $100 to install it which included making custom mounts and new stainless tubing and cutting my bumper so the muffler could be up higher so I dont scrape it as much.

I hear ya. I think I might keep my Benz quiet though. I'm going more for looks on this car. Now I have to order my Bilsteins pretty soon, and get my shocks and springs installed.

I cut my rear bumper for the tips otherwise they scrape on everything as my car is low....
I lucked out, a friend of mine knew a guy that was selling it and it had been on the guys car for like a month and I snapped it up...
A little secret, mine wasn't originally for a benz... I wont say what it was for, but you can get a universal one for a good price, I find them on ebay from time to time...
The remus isn't super loud. ask chris, he heard my car a couple of weeks ago... it sounds just a bit throatier than stock.
