Just curious. but how did the dealer order it? The current MBUSA dealerships EPC systems don't know HWA numbers from a hole in the ground and I don't think they have access to the Mercedes-Benz AG system.
BTW, AMG bodykits, even those made before Daimler bought them out, were never made of fiberglass, they have always been formed from polyurethane.

as far as the fiberglass comment you are correct. my point was that if you have a fiberglass one it is a fake.

Eric, the bumper looks awesome!
Which dealership did you go to have them look up the HWA part #'s? I went to House of Imports and they literally couldn't find me crap.

More than a few of us have the Euro EPC and have the old AMG HWA numbers, the problem arises when you step up to the dealership parts counter and they give you the MBUSA "can't find it" shrug.

the best i think i could do to help you out is give you their phone number here in cali and see if they ship to you. all dealers should have the same database. however if the dealership doesnt update the database that might be the reason they cant find prices for your hwa numbers.
keep in mind i went in with the part numbers. they were not asked to find part numbers for items i wanted.

If only that were true (geographic limitation) but Mercedes Benz of Honolulu uses the same system that it's parent, Fletcher Jones, the largest dealership group on planet Earth, uses and I have a good relationship with the parts desk, so I feel pretty sure they aren't blowing me off.

MTI,
I agree with AMG_Eric. Although Mercedes Benz of Honolulu uses the same system that it's parent, Fletcher Jones; There are some parts that are just not worth their time to keep in stock or ship in either because of lack of demand, low profit margins, or hassel.
The "parts guy" may not be blowing you off, but for whatever reasons it not listed in the computer. Just order it from California since others are getting it from the dealers there.

there is a huge fletcher jones here in cali. the largest bnz dealer on the west coast. my suggestion would be give their WHOLESALE parts dept a jingle with a few hwa part #'s and see if they can find them. i gauruntee you that if you cant i can put you in touch with a dealer that can.
i want to assist in any way i can and not throw blows like this stealership is better then another. if there are a few parts you are looking for post up the #'s and lets all see if we can help.

So whats the deal with the gap between the grill, headlights, and bumper? Not a perfect fit? Is it only reccomended for specific years and models? If I got those euro headlights does that mean I'd have to dump the wiper blades? How much more would it be to include the foglights too?
