I have copies of the W124 CD manuals. $15 shipped to you. They should help you with many repairs and maintenance.

Oh ok,

Well in that case, you should Bosch Super, they are the plain old copper spark plugs. You can use Bosch plug H9DC or H9DCO. The H9DCO has a wider electrode, for a better spark. Stay away from the Platinum 4, they tend to give you a bad idle after about a week of use, I know this personally.

i have the +4's in mine. i have a really bad idle. it fluctuates and is low. could this be the problem? matter of fact it started doing this after the plugs were changed.

i'm off to Kragen.

Nick! get those platinums outta there. Get yourself some Bosch H9DCO plugs, the idle will get better.

Did you at least place the order in? I had the same thing happen at PepBoys with the H9DCO plugs. They took about 3 days to arrive, I had to prepay for them. I paid about $8 for the 6 plugs.

I work for Kragen and even I had to order mines. Took damn near a week to get them. I was advised the same thing, luckily I was able to return the Platinum +4 plugs in exchange for the super plugs.

god... I bought the F8-DC4 Super plugs...

What difference would it make?
Mind you mine is a E220 with M111 engine... I wish I had a E320

No difference, its what your vehicle is supposed to use. Don't risk using upgraded plugs even if it's onlly the Bosch standard platinums. There are some cars that respond well to upgraded plugs, MBs aren't one of them.
