to cut the crap. i would like to change the spark plugs on my 93/94 E220 with M111 engine.
anyone have the guide or something to it?

mate i have the manual thanks.
i just checked it but the model numbers of spark plugs seems out of date so now i just need to know which spark plugs are suitable... any ideas anyone?

Oh ok,
Well in that case, you should Bosch Super, they are the plain old copper spark plugs. You can use Bosch plug H9DC or H9DCO. The H9DCO has a wider electrode, for a better spark. Stay away from the Platinum 4, they tend to give you a bad idle after about a week of use, I know this personally.

i have the +4's in mine. i have a really bad idle. it fluctuates and is low. could this be the problem? matter of fact it started doing this after the plugs were changed.
i'm off to Kragen.

went to kragen, pepboys, and Autozone. none of then had them in stock. they all needed to order them. so maybe later this week i'll get some.

Did you at least place the order in? I had the same thing happen at PepBoys with the H9DCO plugs. They took about 3 days to arrive, I had to prepay for them. I paid about $8 for the 6 plugs.

No difference, its what your vehicle is supposed to use. Don't risk using upgraded plugs even if it's onlly the Bosch standard platinums. There are some cars that respond well to upgraded plugs, MBs aren't one of them.
