w124 and AMG badges? AMG HAMMER and rare w124s
I posted earlier about where the badge goes and i did some searching and found these pictures. So the E-60 w124 does have the badge on the right. Also learned that the AMG ducktail did not always have it molded in to be correct. I will also soon get

To make sure your installing the badge on the correct side just look at the pictures. If you have an AMG ducktail then it goes on the left and if you don't it goes on the right.

that e60 was a 94-95, which is when they officially changed over to badges ont he right.
That was when mercedes took over AMG.
Before then, pre 94, all AMG badges were on the left.

those recaros were all over the place back in the day. i dont recall the model but they were in lots of different cars. what you need to worry about is the rails and how they attach.

That custom interior is done by amg as one of the options the seats are recaro's i
have that photo in my AMG tuning Catalog it has all the AMG options that were
available in the 80s for all the cars W124,W201,W126 ect.

the center cars for my old school hammers are smaller than the standard three inch Mercedes size. The size of my caps are 2.5"

i've been in two cars w/ those seats. one is a super tight '80 300td w/ a 5.0 under the hood. the car is registered as a diesel here in the states, the whole car is pretty amazing. built by AMG has 560 front and rear suspension. and the other car i've driven has been a SEC w/ a 6.0 in it w/ dual cams. i guess the heads were custom built by AMG its got solid lifters!! and a wide body......... next time these cars come back into the shop imma snap some pix

Im going to tell you one of my mods and that is im going to remove the switches in the top and going to install a half din flip out lcd screen with tv tuner and where the cd player is im going to install a dvd player.

Some mb had this problem with the fuel line going to the fuel distributor that made it leak because the rubber of the hose would melt and make it catch on fire!. When i got my w124 i notice this and changed it i also added a heat shield wrap that i got at summitracing.com.

Very easy to find all that vintage AMG stuff today....eBay.de !! AMG even has some stock left on their shelves for W124s. Contact Gunther Riesse there...he speaks good English....but be prepared to open your wallet.
I just GAVE AWAY 4 new center caps for the old stlyee AMG Aero 1s....didn't know they were so rare....were in my toolbox for say, 10 years...
