Prices are way too high at this source.

Try

BTW, you'll NEVER EVER notice an improvement with these vs normal OE rotors.

if you want to hit your chin on the steering wheel, you could install 400e or 500e brakes.

a lot of people have done this, expensive.

do a search at mercedesshop for more info

thanks lkchris ... for the link ...

Hmm! there is no improvement ? ~!

I do not know what info. is right

A- Drilled Rotors is bad bkz the brake pads gets a less surface (why do we find them in racing cars?)
B-Drilled Rotors is good coz it is venting!
who have tried this type on his car?

ebennz ... you are right, but do i have to replace the calipars as well?

I believe that the 400E and 500E had 4 piston calipers. That will probably offer more improvement in braking than new rotors, but at a significant cost. You find cross drilled rotors on race cars because they are running ***** out all the time. Heat is their major enemy. Some of them are even water cooled. But remember, when the race is over, they replace them with new rotors, so longevity is not really an issue. I don't think your average driver will get any benefit by having cross drilled rotors unless they live in very mountainous terrain where extended braking was routine. "Racing" does not always = better.

i have the ate rotors with high performance pad. i have had them for 1 year.

my observations:
you stop like you wouldnt believe. my braking distance has decreased quite measureably. well worth the investment in regards to that.

i have had to replace the front pads already. so they only last about 1 year.

one of the rotors is slightly warped. dont know if i cant turn it but will be trying it soon.

so its worth it if you have the money and dont mind buying new pads and maybe new rotors every year.

I'd look for some Brembos.... I am not a real fan of the Zimmermans - they don't seem to last, in my experience.
