another Oxygen Sensor Question e320 1994

https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...ight=oxygen+se

hey guys.. need some help.... i was planning to follow the above link in order t change my oxygen sensor but when taking mine apart ive noticed that the o2 sensor on my car has 4 wires... 1 black, 2 white, and a gray.....

from the above link the O2 sensor only had the black and 2 whites......

so im guessing that the sensor changed for the 94, 95 e320.... anyways.. i will post some of the pictures...

i purchased the bosch o2 sensor in the link pn 13953... but again. it has three wires and the sensor on my car has 4.....

anyone have any idea has to what i should do... will this one work?,, or is there another bosch sensor that i should have purchased instead of this one?

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

yeah i called the local auto store and they said the 13314 was 140ish.... so i figured that was the one you will not have to splice in... im giong to go buy the 40ish dollar one.. and then use the $100 for going out tonight.. hahah

thanks again

I don't think the $40 Chrysler or Mustang O2 sensor will work in the 94,95 E320. I think all the archived information is for earlier models. The E320 model requires a different sensor. You definitely need a 4-wire sensor. I don't know which spliceable $40 sensor will work in this model. The best price I could find was $95 from autohausaz.com.

Four-wire O2 sensors are heated.

Two-wire aren't.

It was a running change and you shouldn't install the older style.
