oooohhhh Snap!... thats a good one lol...

Hey your 100% right about clearing driveways and parking blocks... but the car dosen't look bad at all with that height...

...do you think they'll come on the e320 ? 400e? because it's gonna be hard to find a 500e with one to spare....i've seen them on other cars like bmw so ima take a look a those...

Those rims are nice i was about to buy a set but their more of an updated rim and i want to go either old school or just something way different....i would love to find some monoblock II...

It's all in good fun. I think people should modify their cars the way they see fit. As long as the owner likes it, who cares what everyone else thinks?

I'm pretty sure the sunshade was a factory option on any W124. So you can simply order it new from the dealer or elsewhere and have it installed. You just need to find someone who can wire it up and install the switch in your console without butchering your car.

The Monoblock V also works surprisingly well on the W124, despite the fact that it's also a relatively recent design. Since you probably don't want to go past 18", you might be able to find some single-piece Mono III or IV fairly easily on the used market. Mono IIs are a little more rare, but I have seen a few on ebay over the years. I've seen pictures of a full Brabus 500E 6.0 on Mono I, now THAT was old school. They look like vintage BBS mesh wheels.

No worries, man. Like I said, it's all love. But there's no way I'm taking those Brabus springs out, the car is riding better than it ever has. So it'll sit where it's sitting, monster truck or not.

BTW, I love the Carlsson Brilliant Edition finish. I had 2/5 BE on my CLK, absolutely gorgeous wheel.

No, it is a bone stock 500E/E500 front bumper, as are the side skirts and rear bumper. The AMG bumper, which I like, would not fit a 500E without modification because of the wider front end. I have seen one Japanese car with a custom-widened AMG kit to fit with 500E fenders.
