W124's
Daez_Nutz, your E500 with the Brabus wheels and exhaust looks incredibly sexy. Loving how it looks and I especially like how those Brabus exhaust look on W124's. One day ... One day I'll find one. I wish I could obtain the full Brabus kit for the W124 too. Has anyone seen pictures of it?
Anyways, I hope you will be able to attend our upcoming W124/W201 meet at the end of April.

Those tires are HUGE!
I hate seeing 500E/E500s with big wheels.. my standard width w124 looks like it hasn't eaten anything in months....
A video/sound clip of the exhaust would be awesome!

EDIT: also, on a potential collectors' car like this one, you wouldn't want to roll the fenders because that's a permanent mod. He'd want to make everything reversable!

welll the car is nice as is...monster truck?...Zorro don't be a debbie downer lol.....if you like to ride on your fenders that's your choice plus so cal roads are not that nice so lowering it more would cause some issues with those tires.....well those rims look nice but i would have gone with the Monoblock III...but Daez you kept it nice with the brabus emblems...not having like all kinds of different ones all over like a carlsson one in the front a amg one in the back and a lorinser plate inside....*cough* *cough*...ohhh and where did you get that shade in the back or it came like that?

The car is sitting on Brabus springs with 1-bump pads, which means I can't go lower without swapping the coils. Also keep in mind that these pictures were taken the day after the install, which means the springs haven't settled yet. The car will probably drop another 0.25-0.5" after a week or two.
I had H&R before, which does sit a little lower in the front. So yes, I can go a little lower without rubbing. In fact, I can probably go to 265/295 with no issues (except that my 9.5" wheels won't accomodate a 295 series tire very well). However, the Brabus rides much better, excellent balance between handling and comfort. As an added bonus, I can still clear most parking blocks and safely navigate driveways. And the last thing I want to do is scrape those shiny new tips.
Zorro, your car is nice too, except it's missing two cylinders and a couple of liters.
YNVDIZW124, the electric rear sunshade is standard on the 500E (at least US-spec). I'm sure you could retrofit it to any W124. I like the Monoblock III as well, but they are exceedingly hard to find in the sizes I would've liked (19x9.5, 19x10). And how many 500Es (or W124s for that matter) have you seen on Monoblock VI? They're like 6-spoke EVOs on steroids.
