Talking

For some reason i never liked to use JL...and the w7 is way to expensive and im sure i can get the same bass from these...I never really like to go with big brands either...i like the old school sound systems too like cars with a/d/s, mtx, jbl pro speakers..... i mean when people used to have 18" subs.....those system you can hear from a block away with clean bass....

have you thought about Image Dynamics? JBL has some very nice higher end subs too, which I love.

The Image Dynamics IDMAX12D4 is a good SQ sub but im in between clean sound with some midbass and really low and loud bass...so i don't know? if you had to pick from the ones on my list wich one would it be?

I'm not sure most of those are brands I have not heard before.

Image dynamics is very good though, but my thinking is you need to try to hear the subs before buying one...

well i heard and used all of those on systems i did for other people but on a mercedes it has a little bit defferent harmonics than a truck or import...but these are the top brands for spl comeptition and have good reps....but i think im going with either the DD 2515 or the RE MT because i see no one has really used any of these on a benz...

I'm a fan of eclipse, and when aiming at sound quality its best to have just one sub, multiple magnets somehow affect each other. Old school-well back then thats when I didn't care what brand or what size they were, as long as the bass was low.

What did you end up choosing ? I went with 2x 10" dual VC Soundstream SPL.
the ones that were still made in the good ole USA.

This weekend i tested my friends 12" RE MT with my amp and damn i wasn't looking for that much bass...I made a box that goes under the rear deck and cut a hole in it so the sub is firing straight up into the cabin...well it was too much bass for me as a daily driver and i mean no bass is ever enough for me but damn with one sub i couldn't hear myself think.....I need to make another box and i think im going with a diamond audio sub for better SQ...im going to get another amp that is not so powerful as the crossfire maybe a jbl 1200.1...this should be a good daily driver system because the other one i wanted was if i went to spl competitions and i wanna keep my hearing for a couple more years.....
