2010 VW Golf TDI
I wanted a 5th 16" AMG wheel forever, but at this point I just can't even consider getting the wheels to get a matching spare. It is sad actually. God I loved this damn car. A few years ago, I wouldn't have hesitated. Too bad!!!

Berti, I tried them if you remember, in the fall of '06 and they need to be glued allll along the edges to stay flush if you paint them. Chrome is contrasting enough to get away with just screws etc but if they are to match your color, you NEED to have them permanently attatched and thoroughly.
The other big thing is that they make your fenders LOOK wider but the wheels will sit in more and if your car is as low as mine, spacers to make the wheels sit flush after the flares = rubbing like no tomorrow. You'd have to completely cut out the inner lip of the wheel well.
I scrapped it but if you want to try and make it work, perhaps it wont show as poorly on silver as it did on my pearl black.

No, rolling will do nothing, you will need to cut away some of the oem fender just below where the flares attach and it would ruin the car IMO...
As far as pics go, I never took any with them on the car cause I never was able to mount them properly. Is your car perfect as in never any accidents on ANY fenders EVER? If not, the flares wont sit right. Even the fact that you have rolled your fenders has caused the oem shape to be out of whack.
MUCH more trouble than it's worth IMO but if you want to try, you know this mod-addict will support ya!

IMO those chrome rings look suspiciously like the pimpy 80's style ones that were sold to old men to cover rusting fender wells.
Your car is too pristine for that. Chrome looks dated too, and I agree about the fitment issues, I'm afraid.
Omg - I'm turning into one of those fuddy-duddies who pooh-pooh mods of any kind. Actually, I'm all for updates and upgrades. You and Zorro have good taste.

Yup, that's why I said I agree with fitment issues.
