Economy meter at 15% when not moving in D
Just recently i noticed that when i'm stopped for a red or so, and in drive, the economy meter is at about 15-20%, where in the past it would allways be resting at the 0% pin. On top of that i've noticed a rather sharp mechanical noise from the back. The thing is that it's not constant, it's rather vague usual- but sometimes its rather loud.
The economy meter is at 0% when in park or N.
I've just recently had 18" rims mounted on it, which is actually a bit too large. Could this have caused some kind of extra wear or damage around the drivetrain/dif.?
I know this could probably mean a hundred things, but i hope someone might have some advise to where to look?
Thanks in advance,
BR

anyways, mine was reading weird at first for a little bit as well, but I changed the O2 sensor and it started reading more accurately. Don't know if the 02 has anything to do with it though.
It's good to hear that my "problem" isn't unusual
Anyhow- just weird that it came just after i got the car back from service, and when the mechanical noise appeared. i've persuaded my mechanic to perform a compression test for free the next time i visit, but it only seems fair as he's sucked my dry already..
Naw my fender is still busted- it really sucks- but I'm looking into new spring pads- as those Vogtland springs aparently costs 300$. I just now lifted the car and tried to feel the spring pads, to determine how large they are. My guess is that they're at least 15mm high, couldn't feel any dots or marks that should indicate their size- anyone know if this could be a size 4? (the largest) -(isn't 4 like 18mm?)
