I just bought a 1991 300CE WITH 108,000 miles. I love the car however recently the performance has gone down. the car is very sluggish of the blocks. I had a minor tune up done, i.e. repalce sprk plugs, fuel filter.
my dashboard does not diplay any warning lights...
It was suggested that it could be the fuel distributor?
or does it sound like an oxygen sensor problem?

Hi Gaston,
I just bought a 91 300CE also (93,000 miles). Drove it 1200 miles the first weekend I had it. It does start off slowly in 2nd gear, I have found that if you want to start quickly you have to give it about 3/4 throttle and it will start in first gear, otherwise it starts in 2nd and their is a definete delay. Once underway the car runs beautifully. Good luck with the car, I think they are one of the best looking Benzes ever made. Love the "2 door hardtop look". What color is yours?

If the car was not underpowered, it would be sitting in my driveway right now. I love the seatbelt "giver", the rear seats, and the pillarless doors with rear windows!

There is a company that offers a kit with all of the Sportline suspension pieces. I am thinking about ordering it, $1,350 doesn't seem unreasonable. Then 16 X 7.5 wheels and some 225/55/16 Michelins.

Did the install yourself?
What size wheels and tires do you run?
Do you have any pics?
Did it lower the stance of the car?

I work at a MB dealer so I may see if I can order all the parts rather than the kit. I love my CE and am very interested.
